Many of you will have heard Equalibrum's music by now, especially since he was lucky enough to have his MPD24 "Time Management" video featured on Youtube, but those who haven't I recommend you read on...
As a lot of listeners have commented, Equalibrum's production has a unique and effective style, combining solid beats with a whole range of funky samples and other instruments.
Over the top of all this on many of his tracks, he's worked with several talented MC's, who have brought their lyrical skills right up alongside the production, and the tracks that result are quite remarkable, and great fun to listen to.
Some of my personal favorites that Equalibrum has uploaded here on MakeTunes are:
1000 miles behind (Beautiful instrumental)
The Nothing feat. Clever (Lyrically sharp and jazzy feel)
Central Park (Funky upbeat track)
Stars - Going going gone remix (Ebbs and flows perfectly)
Stairways (Unfinished but full of soul)
A Short Voyage feat Franco (Funky beat with quick lyrics)
These are just a handful of tracks that especially caught my attention, but I highly recommend you take a listen to all of Equalibrum's tracks, and judge for yourself.
While he is currently working on his solo album tipped for release in 2008, Equalibrum has already co-produced and released some albums, including the very favorably reviewed album with Intuition, called Stories About Nothing.
The intro track to Stories About Nothing can be heard here.
Okayplayer, the record company responsible for such class artists as The Roots, have given Stories About Nothing 4 out of 5 stars.

For those of you into Equalibrum's unique sound, it's time to support an upcoming artist, and grab his album for only $12.99 - I believe he gets 50% of the proceeds from his CDBaby.com distributer.
Equalibrum - hats off to you, and let us know when your solo album is released too!
Many of the regular readers/listeners of MakeTunes will already be aware of the unique dark synth and guitar based sound of Psy'Aviah. Their album Creationism has been announced, and preorders are being taken right now. Check it out, it sounds pretty sweet!
