Free multi-track recorder audio sequencer mixer

Kristal is a free multi-track recorder, audio sequencer and mixer for Windows, and is free for personal and non-commercial use. The creators have in mind those who are wanting to start recording, mixing, and indeed even mastering audio - thanks to VST effects support.

Kristal does not appear to have MIDI sequencing as a feature.

I believe it's possible to download further modules to add extra features, but it's not immediately apparent where they can be downloaded from.

This may perhaps be due to the imminent release of K2, the next version of Kristal Audio Engine.
