On the following page click Browse and point the search for drivers to your System Drive (e.g. C:\) to install the drivers.

You can download the Vista drivers (and all other M-audio drivers) from here.

Thanks to maketunes member bariga for letting me know about this latest Vista driver release.

Yeah, I was waiting for these, but now I'm just gonna wait for Windows 7.

Yeah you know its seeming like that for a few people huh. In many ways Vista is like the OS that never was ;) I'm sure its out there in numbers by now, but man the uptake was shockingly slow. Ah well, hopefully the next one will be better.

Hey Memphis, I've just posted your comment as a new forum thread - clearer that way rather than tacked on as a comment in here. Feel free to post your questions/info as forum threads. Cheers

I think windows 7 uses the same kernel as windows vista SP1
so i give the vista sp1 drivers a good shot of working stable on windows 7..
maybe someone with the beta version could test it???
We'll never know untill someone tried :)

and the reason why this took so long was that it was pretty dificult to write stable drivers in multi threading ( techn. for using multiple core performance)
i'd doubt that the windows 7 drivers would again take so long..
in my opinion OS developers should work close with other hardware companies so they allready would have the drivers from the moment a new OS comes out..
But who am i to complain about these things...

Greetings Bariga

btw i've looked it up, it seems that win7 needs other drivers then vista x86/x64.
i know i'll keep the driver issue in mind when buying new gear..
i was planning to upgrade my interface to an rma pci-express with a breakout box..
but i'm just gonna wait knowing that i won't ever have this driver problem again :)
