Well I guess I finally decided to enter a contest. dont care if I win or not, I know I have no chance at that, with people like illlusive mind and ed. pitbulls pretty damn good at techno too. So at least everybody has a chance now to beat me instead of being judged by me.. One way or another I will inspire people to be better. I actually started making this beat messing around showing someone I'm teaching how easy it is to make a techno song. I didnt intend to finish it or post it. but here it is.. I used the minimum...3 short voice samples that I cutup.2 music samples that I didnt alter..

thanks geichi.. just heard the samples provided and went with it. this was the outcome. im not the best with electronic music so i guess this was good practice. One day though Ill make a bad ass techno track
It was okay man. I love the section with the cool synth section you made.
personally I think its crap... the reason file on my computer for this is titled gay techno.,. thats how much I like it. I was gonna post it with the same name but figured people wouldnt like that to much.. it only took 20 minutes to put the beat and the music together while I was showin this dude. the bassline took a minute cause I just picked up my bass and played whatever sounded right.. altogether about a hour..

Gotcha. Well, I feel if the originators of the samples are donating them to be used it is slightly different then if a producer just gets ahold of some and makes something. I can see your point if it is the fact that you didn't make the 'entire' thing though. One day I WOULD like to see you go all out and make a really kick ass electro track though. All your own of course. It would be a challenge though, but I think you are up for it, since I have heard alot of your experimental style prior to you going mostly hiphop.
yeah man.. When I work on my own stuff I take it alot more serious.. even though the sample are donated its still the same to me. I've always done hiphop all the other stuff I do I do the side.. its all experimenting really....One day though.. I'll make a bad ass tronic track.
I don't think this is bad. And what do you mean will one day make a bad ass tronic track. As I recall, you have before. I wish you would do some more of this experimental. You would get great fast, Teddy.

It's clean and well structured. The synths harmonize the track well. I like it.
Up to your usual high standard, Teddy. Was it good to step out of the hip hop shoes for a minute? I still hear a little of it in the melody.
thanks everybody for checking out the track.. and yeah mortal engines it was fun to make., just didnt spend very much time on it.. I like working on stuff outside rap but more like rock.. electro shit is cool but Im more interested in other genres at the moment
Splendid Teddy, this will surely stand an Electro-test of time. I particularly liked the way the sequences changed as the beat progressed, MAGNIFICENT. This will definitely be among the CD compilation of the top ten jams in the comp if there is any in the offing.
