This is a track that I created from the metronome up. In other words from scratch. No drum loops. I programmed the beat in Reason using Redrum. Then did all the rest in Acid Pro 6 with various VSTi's. The vocoder is a recording I made with the FL8 vocoder. I'm saying '"Arabian Nights And We Do It Like This" It's all mastered and everything.
I'm supposed to be taking a break but it's amazing the way inspiration can just take over. I try not to fire any blanks, try my best not to produce a dud so please have a listen and let me know if you like it or not. If you don't like it then this is for you :P Ha Ha Ha!
This started out as a collabo track with King Dattoli in mind but I just couldn't stop adding to it, besides I made the kick drum a little busy I guess.

I love the 'saudi' feel to this one bro!~inspiration can grab ahold and shake real hard and not let go until it's done and that really is a great thing. Then when it's done you can step back and look at the finished product and say'DAMN!' I made that! That puts pride in your heart and lights you up better then any damn theorapy session for sure. This song was catchy, very catchy and I liked the bass and beatwork involved especially~great dance number too bro! Props and respect to you Coolboy!

i have yet to hear a coolboy dud... u just make everything work. all sorts of different stuff is going on in this track, the handtailored drums are different but kickass, all these styles of vocals working together perfectly, and then its got that arab style too. dont know how you do it, but it is fucking awesome

I said one of the best because I love these too. I've used various presets of NI's FM8 quite alot in my music, along with Albino 2, Korg Legacy cell, Korg Wavestation, NI's B4 and Novation V-Station are some of my favs. Let me tell you about one of the built in vsti's in Sonar 7 Producer edition, it blew me away bro, if you get a chance check out the Pentagon I it kicks ass. Nexus is awesome indeed especially with all the upgrades.
