I just love this song to death. I was done with it from start to finish the same day I did little rabbit foo foo. SInce then I just keep listening to it. Did I mention I just love this song. Inspiration I guess. Please enjoy it and let me know if you like the amount of voices in here. THis song has as many voices as 'Let it Go' and it just sounds fuller. What do you think?
P.S. Please listen to 'When Rainbow Shine' non directors cut as well. These songs were made very very closely together. The same day as Little Rabbit Foo Foo and When Rainbows Shine-Director's Cut which I will released once I have feedback on the first version. I know, I'm evil. It's just you guys keep inspiring the $H!- out of me. :0) Thank you for the inspiration. I am gonna run with it now.

Sweet track Sole - good tune to it and all.
I found the first few "away"s a little wavery, but you seemed to get more into it later on. I also noticed the "stay"s seemed stronger in comparison to the "away"s. Just some things I thought while listening.
I agree the harmony of different vocal tracks adds a bunch of fullness to the track - sounding good man
Thanks Matt, I know what parts you are talking about. Those were only filler fodder. The rest of the song is really all the song there is. After I created the versus(only two of them) and the chorus... the beat intermission was just so sweet. I listened to it and decided some melancholy voices in the background would go nicely. Then I changed the wavery portion (3 different times..beginning..middle..end)so that it wasn't quite the same. By the ending 'wavery' it was sounding like weezer. I think I might throw in some serious reverb to distinguish these portions away from the song itself. Good ear though and thanx for the comments. :0)

I think you might be on to something with this song.
yes I agree its an excellent song, and it seems to have potential to be heard in the charts. I'm not kidding you. in the song were it repeat certain words, try adding some sustain and maybe an slight echo. to make that note lil loner. maybe add a low background string maybe at mid range. and flange your partners voice. if this song went in the charts, I would buy it. nice track. keep it up

I've added echo and flanged a little and reverbed some. I think it sounds better now.
I've been sitting here watching you upload over this track a couple of times tonight Sole and it just keeps getting better with each edit, well done man! It's really sounding great! I'm going to bed now so I'll check it again tomorrow, cheers buddy.

I am done. I don't wanna change it anymore. I like it like this and I hope you do too. You see, I saved over my original version. All the notes will always be changed, forever. I cannot get the original wavs back. I had thought I had backed it up(but I hadn't). I still have the original version in mp3 form though. These are very different sounding. I almost wonder if I shouldn't upload the original version as a showing of what was before a lot of mixing... versus after. It has been fun though. That is all that matters. It is done. Enjoy.
Don't worry Sole about overwriting the original, at least you've got an mp3 of it, what's done is done. I'm sure you're aware that there are file restoring apps out there, but like you said, if you never backed up your project in the first place, then that's a shame! Anyway I prefer this spiced up version, Great stuff Sole ;)

Cool maybe you know a page with a bunch of synth sound fonts if you do and will let me know I need some. I have piano's and all that,But I need some synth sound fonts.

Cool Dean! Then you can do spur of the moment quick thinking and that means you and I should do a different collab together sometime. First I will add an instrument and a voice and then you and then me. The whole time working around the music, with the music and through the music. By the end, a lot of multi voice recordings and orchestrated instruments. Of course I could used Fruity Loops and spice things up some more. What do you say?

Yes. I must've changed a setting somewhere. I can start new songs or load up old ones before and I have NO ACCESS to the piano roll. THis is sucking bad. I might have to take FL6 off and put FL5 back on... :( ©sMs Inc.
Ya there was a few things different about both of the programs.I believe i kept 5 on because I liked it better.You have another drum roll too.It is on the top right corner of your pattern window.

im still using fl 5 too guys...ive had some problems with fl 6...there are some missing plugins or plugins you have to buy extra to use them...
i hate fl 6!!!
Ya unless you have the XXL version most of the plugins are demos.
yeah...and its are quite expensive to buy the plugins or the xxl version...
