This is yet another attempt at a harder style beat. Please let me know everything that's wrong with it. I need all the help I can get with these beats.

Hey the beat is really good...take this with a grain of salt...maybe increase the BPM by about 3 to 5 and see what happens...it just sounds like it could use just a little "spring in its step"....Sometimes this helps sometimes it doesn't. Also...and this is a just a personal thing of mine....everybody relies a whole bunch on one of the Strings settings that Reason has in its combinator (my apologies if you don't use Reason)....Maybe effect them a little more with some delay and a filter (and tweak the parameters with automation...play with it for about a half hour and you'll find a groove, I promise)...it will make them a bit more lively as well. Hope this is helpful and constructive.
tempo sound good to me, i guess vox will make a difference. Only 2 things I can think of is looking into making minor tweaks to the bass to make it a bit more interesting (maybe some slight pitch bends or syncopation - not too sure exactly), and making sure you have a bit of headroom on your mixer. - Love, Ingrid
Yeah I know what moralengines was meaning about the spring - I'd also be tempted to give it a little more pep that way too. But then again I don't make much of this type of music :) Maybe some zippy light percussion could also give it a bit more energy?
Yup Ingrid I hear ya - some pitchbend or something on the bassline could be all good.
Believe it or not... This is firing at 125bpm... I just half stepped it to give it that march feel. As for the strings, you're bang on! They are from the combinator. I'm trying to get them to fire perfectly. I will definitely be putting a slight hall reverb on them... not to sure about a delay... that my interfere with the pizz strings. As for the bass... I wanted it that simple. I usually go crazy with the bass, but I wanted a Sousaphone style bass due to its march feel. I also have not done any compression, limiting or mastering to this. I will be taking all of your suggestions into mind when I rework this one this weekend. Thank you all!! This is the feedback I was needing.
Be good... or just good at it

Hmm... I actually like the bassline, the tempo is OK, too if you were going for that "marching" kinda sound. Maybe add some military-like snares in the background. That would give the track a nice touch, but I dont know if thats what you were going for...
Yeah Pit... "The Dead Man March", but I don't have any snares that sound like a marching band snare. They're all either hip-hop, jazz, funk, or electronic. That's what I use. If any one has some good snares that would give this more of a march quality... Please, send 'em to me!!

I think I still have some...but im not sure. if i find them ill mail em to you
THis Is NASTY! DAMN BRUH! I Like it just like it is, I mean if i were to use it!
Might be a couple of usable marching snares here.
Think the whole song is great, I like how the instruments sound, and the BPM.. Only thing missing for me is another instrument of melody somewhere in the mix!! Great track though Cap!
I thought it was all solid except for that harp.... sometimes it seemed out of sync although it probably wasn't... it's just the delayment of the instrument didn't really fit the track to me and to hear the note that mattered, the harp had to go through those multiple notes and maybe that is why it felt not in sync to me. Of course who the hell wants to produce like Insync?! ;0) Top knotch bro!
It sounds great.
good track bro
