This one was kind of inspired, just ever so slightly, by the birth of my niece on Saturday... was feeling a bit in awe of the whole event and just kinda got musically inspired. Pay no mind to the title. I just couldn't come up with one. I should just start titling them with index numbers like a library. I seriously just randomly title my stuff... seriously.

Ground control to Major Tom, this is yoblooc, do you read me?..over! I just randomly chose that name too lol. This track made me think of David and Goliath and Bowieng 747's for some reason..... seriously ;)

Thanx CB! I figured some one would put together the thought process behind my random titling. That lo-fi is a sample... I used an FFT filter in audition to give it the "Wish You Were Here" effect. It's only lo-fi in the beginning and end.

I'm a HUGE Boards of Canada fan! Campfire Headphase is almost always in the mix. Just wish more of there stuff was like that album. Music Has The Right to Children is a good one too... that's the one with ROYGBIV on it, right?

Yup I can hear the boards of canada aspect to this track too. They rock. That wavering filtered guitar and synth lines on top of percussion and bassline is what does it I think. Also those little glitchy percussion bits. Cool track man, enjoyed it.

So did they name the nephew David Bowie? The song kinda sounds like his style with some of his songs to me. Has a melancholy twist to this one. Sad really! Nice one bro!

I originally titled it "David Bowie Beat" due to its sound, especially the little harmonic strum... but that wouldn't due... sooooooo.... I thought about it and then just flipped the letters in the name... TADA! Eiwob Divad! Nothing to do with my neice's name. The little girls name is Olivia Grace... and she's absolutely beautiful!
