Capricorn One - Tender Vitals

  • Artist: Capricorn One
  • Title: Tender Vitals
  • Genre: Other
  • Year: 2008
  • Length: 4:37 minutes (8.47 MB)
  • Format: Stereo 44kHz 256Kbps (CBR)

My computer got fried... then I found out it really wasn't. my stupid wireless adapter was crashing my cpu. Anyways... This is the firsat track I've done using another computer I borrowed from my shop. Can't handle to much at once, so the combinator instruments are out of the question. I can't in all good conscience call this hip-hop, nor is it electronica... not completely anyways. Some one make up a genre of music and label this, becuase the creative portion of my brain is on hiatus, as of 20:42EST on this tuesday, the 22nd of April, in the year of the rat. It will be returning shortly... I hope.

Well despite the borrowed setup, I really enjoyed this one Cap! That sub bass and the beat are made for each other. Good stuff

Hoptronica? Nice work. Actually sounds a bit like a film/tv score to my ears. It's amazing how Reason will run on pretty much anything. Granted without certain Combis (and def not Thor).

oh the thor works on a p4 2.0, but I'm trying to run the abbey roads keyboards... too many instruments firing at once for my little 2.0... I did slip a gig of ram in it just to make due.

It'll do what it do till it done
You keep it pimp... I'm a keep it gangata!

hey capricorn this is a really good quality tune you got there! All of the melodies are complete, interesting and work well with each other. On the production side I would say though that for the overall kicked back feel of the song, you let the hats and snares be a little too sharp/loud. When they kicked in, the comfort of the intro melody was taken away too fast, so maybe some filtering or Eq might me something to think about. Reason is more than flexible at doing such things.
Otherwise, great tune!
