Pretty good for an improv. Nicely done. Does ever so slightly stray in a few parts, but resolves things nicely at the end. I could imagine some nice accomps with this.

I've been playing for I guess about 10 years now, but I never took lessons and I can't play anything pre-written whatsoever (I can read music, I just haven't had to since high school/my college music theory classes, so I'm extremely rusty). I might try to layer some strings over it, though being a picky audio engineer and a huge fan of classical music, synth strings just won't cut it.

Thank you for the welcome, this community seems very nice so far, and after I write this, I'm going to check out your music!

I agree dude - I love classical music too and synth strings are a bit of a compromise. Apparently there are a few that sound good such as East/west that cost a bomb! I do a lot of composing on piano though so helps with the creative process. Welcome :-)

Yeah, I work here actually: www.museresearch.com, and we have all the EW software on our servers, plus IK Multimedia's Miroslav Philharmonik, but unfortunately I haven't been able to get my hands on any free stuff...yet. Hahaha

Yeah, Muse Research is the first and only job I applied for after graduating, and I really like it. I do tech work...hard drive installation, software installation, repair work, etc etc, which was never really my thing before, but I've come to really like it. Our clients include Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder, Bruce Springsteen, Kelly Clarkson, Cher, Seal, Michael Bolton etc. Not to sound braggy, it's not a glamorous job at all, but it's just kinda interesting having clients like that.

I'll be looking forward to that track, lemme know when it's up!
