Conduits - Rendered Time

  • Artist: The Conduits
  • Title: Time 4 Rendered
  • Length: 3:12 minutes (3.67 MB)
  • Format: Stereo 44kHz 160Kbps (CBR)

audiohead (aka Thunder Rhodes) laid down a sweet piano groove one afternoon, and I remixed it that evening. The piano constantly plays in a loop, but with the added elements I think it remains interesting. Enjoy...

Your right the looping is not a problem, definately have enough things happen arround it (I find the stutter/glitch effects most interesting). Possibly this track could have done with a less, or at least less loud overall reverb, because the sounds are very intense and do smear a little bit over each other. But, this just an opinion, maybe you were going for the big hall sound. Anyways, good track.

Thanks for the comments. It was done sort of spur of the moment if you know what I mean.

Another very intriging track Jonny - lol at the sneeze.

Have to agree with almighty_pattern that the reverb gets a bit overwhelming for me at times, especially those big echoing drums around 2:35 for example,. It seems to me that with the richness of the piano and all the sound effects and other instruments involved, that the reverb could be reduced perhaps by half - and the tracks components actually become more striking as a result? Might be worth trying, even if you don't go for it?

Yeah, I'll definitely do that, matt. This was done during one of my "allnighters". I think towards the end, I needed all the fx I could get my hands on!

Ah gotcha ha! The allnighter. Can be a fountain of creativity, but beware the sleep deprivation phase towards the end! :P

Yeah, I tend to be more of a weekend warrior these days-instead!
