This is an oldie recorded on a cheap 4-track cassette deck in 1985. I love the feeling of the take though.

Very warm sounding instruments. Good fill drums : ta-pu-ti, ta-pu-ti, the! Cool! Swing in RighCymbal-wonderful!
I have to agree with bannyhop on that - it does have great warmth, and those drums in combination with the ethereal guitar melodies give the track a hip groove :)

The Jay Man digs it. I like the drumming work on this one.
Thanks Jay Man. It was awhile ago. I think it definitely captured a vibe.
Where is Dickson Drive? I have also recorded to four track cassette and
have been known to sometimes mix down CD to cassette and then back
to CD to give it that; What I call...Third Generation Sound. i find sometimes
it helps to thicken the Sound.
Dickson Drive is an imaginary place. Dickson is a friend who partially inspired the music. Nice to hear from you Bill. I know I've been absent here and I have a habit of doing that. Thanks for staying in touch.
Aww dude, this is freaking sweet.
