I work for LOOMIS, and we just recently lost a great Team-mate; Kurt Husted. Just 39-years old, Kurt was gunned down as he was leaving a bank inside a Walmart. This song was created and is dedicated to Kurt. Rest Easy Team-mate!

Thanks very much King, I just hope that it causes people to reflect on how life is so fleeting and and how quickly it can be taken from us. Kurt was a remarkable young man with aspirations to move into another career.
I hope that Kurt is resting easy!

Designing this composition was pretty free-flowing, it almost felt inspired. It is somber, reflective, with a haunting horn, delicate piano, pretty strings, and hopefully memorable guitar (my voice for Kurt). While it is long, it provides time for reflection, and towards the end, it moves to a transformation and uplifting/soaring ending that definitely moves me to tears...but it also provides the move to higher - better place.
Please enjoy this piece and remember Kurt as you do.
