Nice one Frank. Good mix, definitely has a nice flow to it. I would imagine the minute + - long fade out at the end wouldn't be there in the final mix? Good work and keep us posted on your label searching endeavors. It's a new world out there in the music business realm, good luck, you've got what it takes talent wise.

I'd recommend entering a few contests this year, creating your own website (a free one like 110mb.com is good) and get your name out there with radio submissions. Then get your stuff onto iTunes or CD Baby. I know you're into electonic/trance style, and I'm sure there are avenues to take with the whole club scene that I'm not aware of as well.

Because of your style of music, I would just master it yourself. I think it's a good idea to learn, even if later, at some point, you have someone else do it. Unless you mean actual glass mastering, I may be mistaken. But I don't think this is what you mean. You're talking about pre-mastering, which everyone calls mastering. Getting the final loudness and eq settings of the mix, right?

If you had a rock band, I may recommend seeking outside help. Making acoustic drums sizzle just right and getting a vocal track sitting pretty in a mix is, in my opinion, harder to achieve in non-electronic music. I say this because electronic music is more repetitive, and often composed of samples that are already eq'd and compressed. Typically electronic mixes sound better "out of the box" than a band playing in a room with a dozen mics, etc.

Mastering Audio is a good book on the final stages of music production. It's pretty technical, but written in a clear, easy to understand manner. Most people give it a 5 star rating at Amazon:

Good luck Frank!

Hiya Frank;

Very nice indeed!
I really like the way you introduce new elements into the main theme, It has the effect of leaving me waiting for the next new verse.

Again, well done.

Great tune. I especially liked the melody and progression starting at 3:17. I could very easily picture this song in a Mitsubishi Elclipse commercial http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dX6TDEHvLuo . Might be another avenue for you to get your music out there. Definitely would hope to hear something like this one in a club too. Nice vibe.

I like this one too Frank, which says something as I am not a huge fan of Trance. You got some nice floaty/droney synths going on in the piece that evolve well....I am a sucker for that kinda thing.
