Hey Karlee, great sounds, interesting lyrics and love the way you break the rulz. R you coming to the next Wax Lyrical on Wed 7th? Assume you R in Mlb as you were live at Bebida? Trevor still has some slots if you get in quick. Love to see you there.

The first Wax Lyrical for the year will be held Upstairs@Janie's - Live@Hardimans in Kensington on Wednesday 7 February 2007, kicking off at 7.30pm.

If you're interested in performing on either night we have a heap of 15 minute slots available, so either call me on 0404 069 019 or drop us a line by return email with a brief bio and requirements.

Whether you're going to play or not, come along and help make the night another success. Entry is free and drinks will be available at bar prices.

Hardiman's Hotel is located 521 Macaulay Rd, Kensington.

Very nice song Karlee - as the others have already said, you've capable of some beautiful vocal work, and the track has some nice melodies to it, with its shifting pace. Enjoyed the listen. I couldn't help thinking it would be even nicer if the guitar recording was unmuffled and brought out some, just my 2c

Welcome Bianca! Welcome to Maketunes!
I don't know when Kali Maa will be back. No sign of the artist since like January. Things could come up in life and mess around with people. Like the loss of internet connectivity. If you like vocals though and like tweaks and vocoding check out my song "Johnny's Song". There are many other great artists at this site. Amittai is a great vocalist too. He reminds me of Beck alot. My voice is different for many songs as well. So if you here one just know that that is NOT the standard sound for me as I am always always experimenting. Once again...WELCOME!!

Kali Maa is alive and well - she performed at last weeks Wax Lyrical in Melbourne (Hardiman's hotel, Kensington, first Wed of the month) and was brilliant as always. She has the cutest performance ever! I video tape the performances so will ask her to put a few songs up on her myspace site when I have finished editing, and put a reference on this thread.

Anyway, as the Soleman say's, welcome to maketunes!

Wow, haven't been here for a while and now I see my little song has been downloaded over 200 times! Probably not much compared with other dudes on this site, but I'm pretty stoked. I've been playing heaps lately and have organised with my boss for a little shift of pace for 2008, so hopefully lots more writing, playing and recording. Yay, go music! xx
