Nice'n warm song, a great tune to play a girl to let her know how much you care. 10/10 Excellent Michael.

Thanks Mate,

It was written to my poor suffering wife... It's the heartfelt ones that come out the best sometimes - of course sometimes they end up just being a whine... Those ones I don't publish ;-)

Ciao,

Ha, ha, that's funny man! How can she be better if I'm the cause of her suffering - she hasn't kicked me out yet!! Just kidding, we have a fantastic marriage but seriously living with a creative person can't be easy - I aught to know, she's an artist! Many sparks both ways - good and bad, but making up makes it worth it ;-)

You're a good man, coolboy!

Ciao,

Mike

Firstly i love this song, it has a very organic and human feel to it i agree with coolbot 10/10

I understand the problems living with someones artistic temprament cos ive had to live with myself, its hard enough for me nevermind some poor girl lol, maybe thats why im single guys EH ? wadda ya think? Lol, its really difficult telling your girlfriend that you need to get out of bed at 4 in the morning to play guitar and write down words when you get the inspiration, not many of my x's have ever got there head around it, Have you guys seen the frankensteain movie where dr frankestein locks himself in the basement to get away from the distractions of his wife and other people so he can do his work undisturbed??? thats me when im writing songs lol
Not even my best mates get through the front door when im creating ...not even if they have beer!!! It's alive! it's alive lol

So true, trying to find the balance between work, wife, kids and our passion(music) is bloody hard at times. If you don't take care of them all, ,something always blows somewhere! It's the spinning plates trick most days and creativity is generally the casualty... Having said that, I wouldn't trade my wife or my kids for anything - they do a lot to fill the empty gaps between spurts of inspiration, and often are the source! One day you'll find a free spirit who understands - then show her how you feel about her but hold her as lightly as you need to be held...
