If you listen verry carefully you might be able to hear a 'flip' of the panning melody. Very easy to do in the piano roll in FL Studio.

I remember watching a doco on composers like John Williams and Hans Zimmer and it's an old trick to add variation to the main theme just to 'flip' it upside down.

Hi illusivemind,

I really enjoyed listening to this song. I once started off in this direction with my music. I soon tired of it because I didn't feel the music inside me.

Across the pond in places like Poland and Germany etc...this sound is king. You have done a great job with this song. Your song is more expressive then most artists who do this. I like what you have done.

All of your music is fantastic. Your music has a wonderful mix and I don't know if you Master these songs yourself but, you do have a professional sound to all of them. My song's lack a great mix & mastering. My song's have lost some very nice sound from my humble mix to mp3.
I am in the market to purchase software that will fix these problems. Can you recommend any software that I might purchase for Mixing & Mastering.
I have looked at a lot but I couldn't tell you if the software is what I really want. The old saying YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR maybe should apply here. Some pretty high dollar software out there.

Good talking with you again, and I mean it when I say that I love your music. Really great...

Talk Again,

Neal

Hey Neal,

Thank you very much for the kind words. I often wish I lived somewhere in Europe when contemplating the somewhat abysmal trance scene in Australia.

With regards to mastering, I think it is very much a learned skill. I just listened to a song I'm working on, on my bedroom speakers and it was unlistenable. It sounded awesome on my monitors!

Pretty much I just use some compressors and parametric eq effects in FL Studio, nothing overly complicated. What software are you using to mix your songs?
