  • Artist: Joseph Spinelli
  • Title: Arp
  • Album: Beats
  • Length: 2:56 minutes (2.69 MB)

Experimenting with Reason 4... Namely the arpeggiator and some groove settings. Turned out nice, kinda oldskool.

sounds like you were going for a rocky anthem....man this is tight....you need to throw a rap on it....that beat is catchy and has a lot of feeling and energy....good stuff

Great energy. I agree with Frank. Lay down a rap over it and you've really got something here.

Really good bit of music mate! I like it as it is - I think it works well as an instrumental personally! Mabye worthy of a film score. Reminds me a bit of the Kill Bill soundtrack! Cool.

Thanks everyone! I'm glad you liked this one, I think it's my recent best.

Everyone else, if you haven't listended to it yet wait!!! I need to update it but I left the files at home... Just a few minor changes, I put the beat together quickly and had to make adjustments after I critiqued it the next day.

Amittai's picture

Okay, it's been updated. I think it's solid now.

Those horns are sweet! Were they from a refill or did you find them in the factory soundbank?

It'll do what it do till it done

Bring the horns! I enjoyed the tune man, its got a solid beat goin in it, and the melodies (especially the horns!) are great fun to listen to. The only thing I wasn't so keen on was the BOOM TISH BOOM TISH BOOM TISH sections eg 0:50sec - found that a little much personally. But hey, maybe I'm just not down with the new sound ;)

I know what you're talking about. Those are the hook sections of the song... Probably sounds too up-beat? Eh, it grew on me once I got it developed.

matt's picture

Yeah probably just me hehe - it was something about the loudness/repeating of those drums in that section that I found a little off putting, but it might be cause I'm focusing too much on them

Wow bro! THis one is experimental. Has a nice hiphop macarena goin' on. Would be a good bahama song bro!

Lovin this track !! I agree with Matt on that 1 section, gives off a totally different vibe that clashes with the original track. Just my 2 cents.
