Made this tune today with Reason, Acid Pro and some vocals from ccmixter. As soon as I heard these Arabian vocals, I knew I had to try and use em! I find it such an interesting language to listen to, though I have NO idea what is being sung about!! Hopefully its all good ;) Whatever, I can't stop listening to it haha! Enjoy.

Cool thanks Eugod, appreciate it. Hmmm took me a few hours I guess, to get the core of it, and then a couple of hours playing around with various little aspects of it? I'm not one of the guys who can crank out 5 tracks a day clearly ;)

I bet none of you understood what is being said here. Well I did. Just so you know Matt, the main vocals are from a shitty song whereas the other vocals, the ones that don't play much ("ya ghaly") are very popular and are more valuable than the main vocals. Otherwise, I disagree with most of the people who commented, the beat is good, but I find the pad out of place: it's too strong. Anyway, that's my opinion.

Heh yeah Caesar I searched for a translation and as I suspected it was a jilted/love song, but its all good - I like the sound of the language in combination with the track, so I'm happy ;)

LOL! Old and grey? ;0) We wont talk about age... I enjoyed it, the beat worked with that off-beat in the beat which matched up pretty good with the vox samples. I thought the pad placed a strange alien vibe on the rest of the track, which was more desert tribe in nature, but it was an enjoyable listen all the same.
That off beat thing is very west coast. I usually use an off beat bass as opposed to an off synth in my west west, but it works real well here. I gotta try that trick one day.
