Here's my unofficial entry for the MakeTunes Electronic Music Contest. Unofficial, as I'm a competition judge in this case ;)

I used a total of 6 of the comp samples, and created several heavily modified samples from the originals too. My arrangement of all of these form the basis of the track, then added a couple of Reaktor synths for good measure later in tune.

Get your entries in for the contest too, its going to be really interesting to hear what people come up with I think!

Pretty cool stuff Matt. Different from what I normally hear from you. Nice automation and it's a shame you aren't competing. I like this track better then the other official submission! ;0) By the way I asked in the contest forum but figure I will ask you here for a quicker response..... Is it okay to alter and tweak the samples?

This is a solid tune Matt. It feels like a real club anthem - I don't really go to clubs - they used to play slow sets with Phil Collins and stuff in my day, but this is how I imagine it!

i'm not really a trance kind of person but this could be really killer if you added some heavy saw type synth and vocoded the vocals.
