Shannon Hurley's vocals, off of ccmixter, made this song. MUCH thanks to her and ccmixter. I'm not sure about the levels in this song tho, if you have any suggestions please share.

Yeah... ignore my previous comment on the instrumental... I see where this goes. The vocals make the track complete. Takes me back to circa '99... Ian Van Dahl - Castles In The Sky....... yeah, I'm a former club kid. I admit it. I don't think it needs the vocoder, but to each his own... it's just my opinion and nothing else. Very nice bro!
Be good... or just good at it...
You keep it pimp... I'm a keep it gangata!

thanks a lot capricorn one, i get really fed up with vocoders too, especially in so much modern pop and r&b stuff, but then i guess i just got suckered into it again... what can i say, im a hypocrit
well talking about unique style you got it to and it's real nice keep this up
For sure, you have a very unique style and this is another awesome track bro! Shannon Hurley from ccmixter has a beautiful voice and if she gets to hear this track I'm sure she'll love what you've created too. Appreciate the download.
Coolboy in the mix.
thanks coolboy and a-z. i uploaded the track onto ccmixter as well, so hopefully shannon hurley will get to hear where her singing for soft country/acoustic music ended up
Awesome bro, I really like what you did with this, great melodies and sound to go with shannons voice, this track sounds like you put some real love into it!
Thanks for the DL
thanks man... i always appreciate it.
Nice! I really enjoyed the intro and initial buildup and breakdowns especially. Personally I felt the constant hihats accompanying the dance beat could do with being replaced by something else, maybe a lower form of some percussion or a glitch/synth equivalent. But thats just me ;) I often find lots of hihats in dance music a bit much. I don't actually listen to much 4/4 dance music these days, but just some thoughts I had. The vocals worked really well with your tune too
matt, thanks alot for the feedback... i think i definitely ended up with kindof a tacky feel, the quarter note kicks, the vocoder, the continuing hihats (i agree with u about the hihats)... in other words i wouldnt call this my most meaningful or experimental song, but i actually liked the feel of it, and do listen to alot of music like this... just a little insight into what i was going for... but one of these days hopefully ill be able to combine the two styles into something less technoravy but still pumping
I loved it - Across the board bro! Top knotch! Vox makes a difference!N I just FN love vocoding too, so continue being a hypocrite! It just sounds great with electronic music!
THANKS ALOT SOLE!
