Cyberpunk music is often informed by industrial music but my view is that there is actually no such thing as a cyberpunk 'music' genre. Cyberpunk is much more of a visual aesthetic and a narrative concept.

Therefore, cyberpunk music is simply music that has some kind of relationship with cyberpunk narratives. My favourite is "Blade Runner Blues", by Vangelis which is on the soundtrack to the film, a mellow, atmospheric synth/saxophone instrumental that has "neo-noir" written all over it.
