Outta Here by michael

  • Artist: michael
  • Title: Outta Here
  • Album: Recycled
  • Track: 2
  • Genre: Rock
  • Year: 2003
  • Length: 4:46 minutes (4.36 MB)
  • Format: Stereo 44kHz 128Kbps (CBR)

Rough mix and rougher execution but it rocks, so I left it that way. Strangely live feel, even though all instruments were played one at a time by me. One day I'll get around to re-doing it.

Hey michael I just love the feel of your music

it had me hooked from line one

one thing hower i would pay attention to is the tuning and intonation of the electric guitar

I have perfect pitch unfortunatly for me sometimes and if its out of tune its hurts.

other than that your songwriting is cool i,m listening to more tracks right now and i must say I LIKE IT good voice and BVs too

Hey Dean,

Thanks for the encouragement. Like I said in my comments - it was a poor implementation - silly excuse, I should respect the listeners more! I did this one some years back and somehow have never got around to re-recording it. Finding the time is so hard when there is always a new song to work on in the limited time available!

Thanks again though. The encouragement helps to press on, when it sometimes seems so pointless - and yet remains so compelling!

Regards,

Michael

I loved it. Classic rock rules bro and it is a good genre. You and Dean Favor eachother in a way... the rock-n-rolly melody is always good to here and you did the back vocals harmoniously. I know what you mean about finding time to do it. Let alone listen and comment on everyone's work. That last bit goes to both of you. Well done Michael. Well done indeed. After I am through with these four collabs that are waiting for me to do, and given a circumstance where you have time as well... I would like to do a collab with you vocally and your guitar wise as well. I can add the rest with FL and it will sound good if you are interested?

Thanks Sole. I would definitely be interested in a collab at some stage. To quote the Doobies "tell me what you want and I'll give you what you need..."

Ciao bro'

Oh that was awesome Michael - enjoyed the rock rhythm, the vocals were well on target, and it had enough variations and lyrical stuff to keep me interested. Good stuff

You've got a very good singing voice.

Thanks guys. Considering the feedback on this one, I definitely will rerecord it I think. Thanks for providing the incentive.

Ciao,

hey man that track sure was rockin.
it was like a mix of blues n rock or somethin
i like your style bro, keep it up!
did you play all the instruments?
see ya

Hey Pitbull,

Thanks for the kind words. It does rock a bit and would rock a lot more if it was played by a band!

I played all instruments one at a time, so it's a bit scrappy in places and definitely needs a rework. The drums were done on one of those Yamaha drum pad devices! I now have a Roland TD6K so should be able to work it up a bit.

I recorded this one about 3 years ago and my playing (especially lead) has improved quite a bit since then.

Thanks again,

michael
