This is the beginnings of a track that I made recently with my MPD24, Battery, and Reaktor. As usual its not exactly finished, but I had fun making it thats for sure

THe flute grasped me. THe strings in the back ground was nice too. THe bass was full of funk. Finish it!

Illusive - yeah I love using organic-type sounds like that flute. Its actually a flute patch from the SteamPipe synth in Reaktor (which is capable of making all SORTS of sounds, from natural pipes and flutes, to eerie "steamghosts", and everything in between...

Glad you're liking it guys. I'd guess the completed version should be ready by early fall 2015 ;)

Pitbull, those strings/flute etc are all Reaktor - I don't even skim the surface of whats possible with that thing... its crazily adaptable

I haven't tried that program yet....I'm drawn to them flutes thou!!!
I live in the SouthWest desert and Flutes are part of the Native culture here, so sometimes I put them into my beats for my southwest signature.
I use a few Flute Loops and break them up to get the sound I'm after. I'm going to try to find a Flute VSTI, I'm sure theirs some out there.

Well i gotta say its the flutes!!...the melody reminds me of something and i just cant think...aggghhh!!

Not using images in maketunes signatures has always been the case. To avoid it becoming cluttered like myspace etc.

You're not supposed to do anything you don't want to. The vast majority of people prefer the clean layout and clarity of conversation here. If you don't like it here no one is forcing you to stick around. Perhaps you'd prefer to go and create your own community website, spend countless hours/days/weeks/months working on it so it brings like minded people together from all over the world, only to have someone insult you over some aspect of it, despite your good intentions and hard work.

Thanks Crim - when I get a chance I like to try and make some tunes :) Not many get finished, but hey for me its the trying thats fun ;)

That was pretty much what inspired me to start maketunes.... I was into the scene, wanting to hear what others in home studios were doing, and share ideas/tips... and just generally hang out with a bunch of musicians and producers really. I'm so glad I did, because meeting all these cool people from all over the freakin planet who are into making tunes too just rocks

totally understandable....just to let you know bro...i dont think i could have called myself a producer until i came here. I learn alot from listening to others music. You really got top notch guys here like Sole, Giechi, Master beats, Eugod, Kane, ed, James Cagne and many others (if i didnt mention your names dont mean your not one of my favorites). This is definitely my home away from the studio. keep up the good work bro.
