Check it out... Ever since reading when I came home the forum about FL 8, I went ahead and downloaded it. and installed it on Vista. Since then I have tested the save function and it works VERY well. I even installed it on another hard drive instead of my normal one which has FL 7. Well, if I loaded up Nexus it crashed and so I believe the secret is to click a box in the step sequencer where kick is and then save. From then on you can add the many vsts you want without error. Build it up and it automagically detects the vsts in the other hard drive. But not soundfonts or pack samples of course. I am about to rectify that situation. FL 8 is great and I love the artwork added. It houses more then 220 different changes since FL 7 and has some cool stuff. This is my very first fool around with FL 8 and this track is trippingly sweet. No doubt I don't have it done yet but I will post here again when the product is finished. This is a sample and a taste of things to come. Please be aware I have done a hell of alot since an hour ago.

THIS bitrate kbit was uploaded at 450kbit thanks to FL8. However I notice it only shows at 320kbps. Funny shite.
pretty stoked that there's someone else to talk about the new stuff with....a lot of people don't have the real version so no upgrades....anyways....tell me what you find out and ill try to keep you informed as well....what about that limiter on the master deck.....thats really great...love that thing...i dont know if it was there before but that thing is awesome....have you messed with the drum slicer yet?....im eager to look at that monster....dude im having fun...here's something ive been doing with it

Also the fade in and fade out was a side effect of the instruments themselves and I kept it intentionally because it is mesmorizing and makes ya frigging trip if you close your eyes.
No uhuh I haven't fooled with anything new yet. I do wanna check the slicer. The song demonstration this go around wasn't as good as FL 7's with Mr. LEARY.

Yeah Giechi, no problem. I just gotta experiment with all the new features. I am still blown away by the quality factor at which one can export in FL8. I mean can you imagine...450 kbit? It doesn't matter if it is CBR. 450 stomps EVERYTHING in the mud! Thanks
oh Ed? The fx used were parametric eq 2 and multiband compression. Those are old settings from FL7 etc... what makes the fade in and fade out is really just the result of the bass. It is individually tweaked. Chained.

This is very trippy Sole, nicely put together bro. Lovin FL8, especially the new playlist. It's great using the audio clips & automation clips instead of the pattern blocks because you can instantly see what's going on. Took some getting used to but it is a vast improvement. Yeah check out CamelSpace too, very cool FX.
