I've been playing around on and off with Ableton Live for a couple of weeks now, got to say though I've come across nothing I'm more happier makeking tunes with than Acid Pro. Reason comes in at a close second. Sorry Reason, you were my fav once, we had a great partnership, I still loves ya baby lol. Everybody has their own preferred choice of software they're most comfortable with I guess. I never did get into Fruity Loops either, we just didn't click. Thank you for supplying the info.

I've never used any other software other than Ableton. Someday, I may check out Acid Pro. But I usually don't like to learn new software after I've already familiarized myself with one.

Well I was so happy with Reason, then my homie DJBizzerk pointed out Acid Pro to me so I gave it a go and I loved it. You may try and hate it or just think it's ok after using Ableton Live. I hear you, why change a working formula right? But what if I never tried Acid Pro? I would be none the wiser. I think it's good to try out new software all the time, keep moving, see what's good. You know I might yet get down with Ableton, it can do some cool shit. It's real good to have all these options. Making music is a great hobby for me that just keeps getting better and better.
