The major change is my home theater has been moved upstairs and the Pentium 4 blew up and was subsequently replaced with the uber cool Intel Core2 Quad Q6600 with 4gb of RAM. I've now also got a Powerware 5110 1000va UPS to protect my new baby.

Let me be the first to say.... *drool* ;)

Thats a sexy beast of a new pc, dammm 4gb ram should keep things running nice and smooth for some time, not to mention that mouthful of a cpu. I'd imagine that level of cpu technology would leave my athlon 64 3400+ whimpering in the corner!

Wise move on the surge protecting ups as well, with all that hardware hooked up in one dedicated studio. Dam thats a nice little setup you've got organized for yourself. Especially with the low lighting mode :)

This is pretty damn pretty. Makes me extra anxious to get into a house and build a permanent setup... The apartment isn't exactly customizable to my desires, nor is there room for a dedicated studio space... The booth is next to my bed and the desk is in the living room instead of a tv and coffee table, and my guitars, amps, and hardware are constantly doing musical chairs to make each session work. LOL. Great stuff Illusive, looks as great as it sounds!!! Props.

Haha I know the feeling oh so well Amittai! These days I rent a little 2 story self contained unit, with a tiny garden and courtyard etc, but each level is the size of a small cupboard, so when visitors are round I have to stack them in the corner so as to be able to move about ;)

Sounds like a nice place though.

Yeah its not too bad. I enjoy having my own place like this, after the last 8 or so years of sharing houses with flatmates (roommates I believe is the word in the USofA). I'd like a proper garden with a bunch of trees etc though, because I much prefer living surrounded by nature to a concrete jungle. This is sort of a maxed-out meager budget compromise.... my own small place, small courtyard garden, and a couple of nearby trees... it'll have to do for now.

Yeah this thing purrs, I'll do some interior shots a little down the line. I've yet to max out the cpu, or experience a single buffer under-run and this is whilst running dozens of instances of Nexus and others.
