Hello Internet,
I have recently switched from FL studios(peace) to Ableton(amazing). So far the only snag I have encountered has to do with midi mapping and the Mpd24's pads. I midi map a pad to trigger an audio file in session view and when I press the pad a loud piano note plays along with the audio file. Different pads play different notes, and no piano synth of any kind is hooked up just audio waves mapped to the pads. Hopefully, someone out there knows what I am talking about and can be my knight in shining armor. Thanks!

After pounding my head against the wall I finally came upon the solution.
Disable Remote Microsoft GS Wavetable SW Synth under the Midi Sync tab.
Hey TW, ah yes of course. Good on you for posting the solution once you'd found it too. I'm sure someone will find that useful. Welcome to maketunes too by the way
