What do people think of Adobe Audition.
I was using Cubase 3 but lately I've been using Adobe for my recording (rather than just my editing).

i hear the new version has features that pretty much let you do everything you can do in any other DAW or sequencer. i've never used it but i wouldn't mind knowing my way around it just in case.
Like it a lot for multitrack recording...the CoolEdit sound editing tools are still in there even better than they were when Adobe bought them and ReWire support as well as VSTs work just fine. Not sure about the sequencer functionality though, I never use it in Audition and haven't touched Cubase for a while either but my guess would be Cubase is still king there.

...or at least try to (me, just now)
I always use adobe audition to record my vox. I started with 1.5 but now use 3.0
