Anyone here use FL to make songs?

Cause eh.... I do. I feel a little outta place after hearing some of the songs here. Everyone sounds like they recorded in a studio! I build everything in FL8, am I the only oddball here? :\

I use FL Stdio 7 for making music. It is generally a user friendly soft ware and the recording almost automated and ideal for those who do not know much about mixing and other sofisticated areas in audio recording.

Checked out everyones music, way bettern' mine. Wanna share any tips? Im always looking to get better. Hey stew? "Maybe" is a really cool beat. Its smooth. Gonna download and play it on my mp3 playa! Reminds me of Junior High sweetheart. Songs like magic.....

Im lagging behind y'all in many areas of quality and know-how. Ive tried more than once to make beats with FL and Im just no good at it. I like something with more of a rock metal beat to it. Im trying to make something for a dear friend of mine, but im just no good at it. I particularly like how you all split your audio tracks and make them sound large and stereo friendly. Hows it done?

I use FLS 8, Ableton Live and Sonar 7. FLS is the best for getting ideas down fast, so I use it the most. For drums and percussion it beats (pun intended) all the rest hands down!

I use FL 8, too! I mostly use the Fruity Multiband Compressor to make my songs sound "fuller". If you have a mono track, use the Fruity Stereo Enhancer to make it stereo. If you want to make the Pan of something (e.g. the beat) change, right click on the pan button at the left side of the channel you want to Pan and click Edit events.
Juzst ask if you have any questions.
