Hmmm I'm not sure how to do it within BFD2, as I don't use that myself. Apparently in Guru there is an option to reverse samples in the pad edit window... but not sure about BFD2?
Of course if you're able to load in an external WAV file, then it's a simple fix (I'm presuming you would have already tried this if it was possible, but just in case, I'll spell it out!)
Just export the hihat WAV you want to reverse.... (or record it in your audio editor such as Audacity while it's playing in BFD2).
Either way, load the hihat WAV sample into your audio editor (I'm using Audacity), and then select EFFECT > REVERSE. Then save your new file as "reversed_hihat.wav" or whatever. Then load your new reversed hihat sample back into BFD2 somehow alongside your original drum kit samples.
Of course, perhaps you cannot export / import wav files into BFD2? I don't know.
Hope that helps, or failing that, maybe someone else who has BFD2 knowledge can help out??
That's how I'd do it. If BFD can use user selected samples, and not just their preset kits, then that's how to do it. I use audition to edit wav files, and it has a reverse function right up in the top menu.
Take two of these beats, and call me in the morning. Doctor's orders!
