With the 1st AP-MT Hip Hop Competition finished, I decided to make a 2nd AP-MT Hip Hop Competition! Everyone will be judging. "How do you judge?" This is how YOU will be judging: You will be giving the song a rating out of 10 (1 to 10). Also, you can't judge your own songs!

Rate as many songs as you can.

How to enter:
You must enter as many songs as you can no limit.
And they must be new material, not old material.
You can create a Rap/Hip Hop song or you can make a Hip Hop Beat. It's whatever choice you make.

hey purski.. that was a typo in your last comment I hope.. minimum should be 1 not 10.... 10 should be the maximum... unless your doing the rating backwards.. 1 usually means really bad in a 1 to 10 rating system.
doing it the other way around is gonna confuse people.. ask around and everybody will tell you the same. im not saying this just to be saying it..

I thought that might happen. I got a seven, an eight and some discoraging comments from Teddy(JK). I think mabye it would be more fair for everyone if the connests where just judged by the host of the comp. and whoever eles wants to volenteer.
I think Sole has got score sheets. I hate to say it but,I feel that asking the peeps to judge is simply asking too much. Myself included. As much as I kept reminding myself to take the time to rate every one and as much as I wanted to do my part to help make it the most fair for ever one, I didn't. I kept putting it off until I forgot. I remembered the day before and the day after, but on the 10th I totaly spaced it. The same thing happend when sole,reizel and I competed against each other in a judges battle. I think a fair policy to consider for future comps is to automaticly expect to take on the task of judging. When you decide to make the commitment to host a comp Judging and rating the partisapants should be looked at as automaticly included in that commitment. Other wise you get jerks like me who can't remove their head from there rear long enough to remember to rate every one.

lol grandscam.. what i say shouldnt be taken as discouraging. its meant to encourage.. some people take my advice and work on getting better at what theyre doing, some people get mad and make a better song outta spite just to try to prove me wrong.. some people just get mad.. most of the time my goal serves its purpose

A simple rule would've fixed the judging problem

if you judge, judge every song in the competition otherwise the scores on the song/songs you did decide to judge wont count

Like grandscam said though.. Having appointed judges works.. After some trail and error im sure having the whole site be the judges would work too but only if you implement rules like the one I just said

lol!Your advice has helped countless times bro. The best advice is never what you want to hear at first, but once I calm my ego and listen, I allways end up better for it. I can't even count the times you left a short sentence in a comments feild and instantly shed light on somthing I had never considered before.

Really I do not have time on my hands guys, sorry. School just started. I'll do the best I can. With the amount of people NOT voting on songs, that's how I cannot name 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize, (but well you noticed that people voted for "poppintagz" as 1st). But no offense everyone some people did not read the forum that well. All was feedback (which is great) but no rate! Give me a number so I can calculate. Or if people can't be bothered, I'll do it the old fashion way, pick 2 judges and will judge the artists song.

What I really think is, and what I should of done a long time ago, is should of picked 2 judges (and making myself the judge as well).

Sorry for wasting your time. Really, I am sorry.
