Well I've been looking for a good online backup site for a while now, one which does it all automatically, works well - and is free!
It looks like Mozy.com could be the one. It has a couple of gigs storage, is secure, and free to use.
Now I should be able to back up my important song files automatically, just be choosing the directories I want backed up, and when ever my computer is idle it will automatically make sure I have a secure online duplicate of my chosen folders.
Sounds pretty sweet, and I'll post back here once I've been using it for a while...

Try out the custom Google Search for MakeTunes which I'm testing!
First impressions are all good. The service once set up just replicates an directories of your choice securely on their online storage. Which you can then restore to your own PC if need be at a later date...
I'm gonna check this out. My heart stopped when I thought I had lost my hard drive because almost everything except your 'creations' are recoverable one way or another.

Yeah man it seems pretty dam sweet so far eh.
Thing about backups is they've got to be EASY or we just don't do it ;) Specifying a bunch of folders to mirror online is pretty easy, and you can even tell it to automatically backup once the pc has been idle for more the X minutes etc... or schedule a time/day for backup to occur - or only manually if you prefer
