Okay. Here it goes.
I started setting up my FCA202 Fire wire Interface with my XENYX802 Mix board. I plugged in my jack cables into the Main Output of the mix board to the input of the interface (which under it would say UNBAL IN). Then, I plugged in the jack cables under 'LINE 3/4' that is on the mix board, to the output of the interface (which is under BAL/UNBAL OUT). Now, everything is cabled up. I plugged in my microphone in the mix board. Now with my head phones! I plugged it in my mix board. I hear quite-low sound right! But its only coming from the right side of my head phones! I mean... WHAT THE HELL?! Also, when I speak into my microphone, its so loud, so when I lower down the knob its all nice and quite in my head phones. BUT in my cakewalk software, I click on record button, no wave files are coming up on the screen! I only see little-tiny-tiny-winy waves that I cannot hear. So, I higher up the knob to the microphone! And guess what? ITS TOO BLOODY LOUD! I could explode my ears if i said one word.
So, what can solve? What is happening? Please, feel free to comment down below. I need help. Bye.

Ah.... the inherent flaw in all of the Xenyx mixers I've used. The headphone BS fuck shit! Sometimes it just needs cleaning. The stuff I've always used was called Deoxit Gold. Works like Air Duster, just spray it in all your sliders, knobs and ports XLR and 1/4" alike. I'm not saying it always works, but it has for me in the past. It may be dirty contacts on the headphone volume knob. If it's not that, the you might need to call Behringer and see what they say. The other thing I've run into is the 202 fucking up. Now we have a UCA202 which is the usb version, but it seems to be fickle sometimes. But the FCA may not have those problems.
Take two of these beats, and call me in the morning. Doctor's orders!
