Berklee Music Contest on Indaba Music!

Indaba Music and Berklee College of Music have teamed up to bring you a contest like no other. Grammy Award winner Joe Lovano. Sax master Greg Osby. A free online course at BerkleeMusic.com. What could be better?

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to to pick and choose from tracks created by current Berklee students and jazz greats Joe Lovano and Greg Osby, and to cut, edit, paste, and mix these tracks together (and add your own if you feel up to it!) to create the best original mix of the song.

The tracks you will be using in this contest were composed and recorded by Berklee student Chris Han, with the help of three other Berklee students. Using Indaba, Greg Osby and Joe Lovano (both Berklee alums) recorded saxaphone tracks to the song as well. We've loaded the contest with all the files from these sessions, including 2 alto sax tracks by Greg Osby and 2 soprano sax tracks by Joe Lovano. It all sounds so good that we can't pick which tracks to use in the song! That's where you come in...

The producer of the best mix is going to get something exciting. Berklee's online school, BerkleeMusic.com is giving away a free course to the winner (retail value of about $1,000 dollars)! Get your producing muscles warmed up 'cause its all or nothing in this one - all for the best and none for the rest. On your mark... get set....
