Combi automation in Reason (3.0)

I'm having problems figuring out how to automate controls within a combinator. I can automate anything on the combi itstelf, but no changes on devices within it seem to want to record. Thanks in advance for any help.

Have you made sure you've created separate sequencer tracks for all devices inside the combi that you want to record automation for? If you don't, Reason has nothing to record to..

okay, yeah, i got 'er figgerd now. i suppose one of these days i could go ahead and read the manual. thanks for the help
