Im bascally tryin to use reason as a virtual mpc, I had no idea until recently that you could load your own samples into the d-rex and slice it up (like on fl studios beat slicer for example). All my samples are in wav format so I can easily load them into one of the samplers, however when I do the same using the rex the samples arent there. If anyone has any ideas it would be much appreciated, im wondering what format they need to be and how do I convert them if they need to be converted.

yeah u need to get the program called 'recycle' with that you can convert wav to rx2 format
yea and whenever u finish slicing them up in recycle, not only can u use the loop in dr. rex, but you can use the individual slices in the redrum computer, samplers, etc...
dr. rex is the shizznit indeed!! he's cured some of my beats from dryness!!
Recycle is da HEAT!!!!! best program I have ever used, especially if you have samples that don't fit your tempo i.e. vocal hook or something over one bar in length. it does not distort the sample what so ever.

yea and after u slice up your loop in recycle, you can use the individual slices in reason through the redrum computer or the samplers just like any other sample...
