Hey,
One thing i havn't come across on maketunes is a female vocalist.
Do they exist here?
Would love to collaborate on a track if there are any. Got shedloads of light melodic material.

Haha yeah there definitely have been some who have treated our collective ears with their lilting tones, but they are a rarity ;) And yes I agree, it would be nice to hear more from them.

This means we each need to get out and pimp MakeTunes some more, via MySpace or Face Book, or whatever, and put the word on the streets to all the female singer-songwriters, MC's, etc. Vocalists are our extended family.

Sole, you should rip a track with some helium vocals man. That shit would be awesome. If you don't do it, I'm totally gonna steal your idea.
Actually Just change your pitch on your vox.... raise it all the way up. I did it recently with my "Let it go" song. I had bet my oldest daughter that I could sound like alvin and the chipmunks and she didn't believe me. So I high pitched all my vox on the song and though it is hard to understand it was classic. Shoot I will go ahead and upload it. Only temporarily though because I don't wanna be remembered for it. I will post the link at the feedback forum. It's classic....and without helium. YOu can run with the helium idea though. Be sure to check out my chipmunk song. I'll have it up in like 5 minutes.
I like the helium idea. It's a 'natural' pitch shift.
If you take your voice and edit the pitch and you have the right voice then when you pitch it higher it should sound girly... I mean I've made Drowning Pool into a girl band.

Well bro for me the task to accomplish is where to get the helium. I guess it is balloon shopping should I ever get bored enough. Renewing vows is perceived as idiotic in my mind unless I hit the big 50 and then I probably wouldn't remember to do it.
Just dont be like one of those guys thats forgets their vows... then you have to make up ones and your wife is looking at you with a bullshit face and arms crossed while you have your foot in your mouth x]

get a helium tank =D and then hide it somewhere and right before you go up to renew them go to the "bathroom" and then start suckin! Just make sure you go first otherwise it will wear off probably.

I would bring her with me to one of those gas supply places and just walk in like I work there or something. Maybe pinch a uniform or some overalls and take a clipboard. While talking about something completely irrelevant, I walk straight up to one of the big gas bottles containing helium, take a deep breath from the hose, turn around and just straight up propose.

I got off subject at first... yea im after a female vocalist to sing my dark songs... all I need is just whispers pretty much... and someone who's committed .... basically someone who's willing to join or merge into my "band" lol. I can alter the vocals when i have them and implant them into the song... this is an obvious statement but please make sure you listen to the song as you record your vocals for it and make sure you start the record at the exact same time as you start the song so that way I can just play the 2 tracks at the same time without having to worry about syncing them... if the sync is off by a snitch then Ill be able to fix it but if its major its going to take more time to get it done... and school is gaining so I wanna try and fully complete one song before it starts. well...well...welll...now you've got a female vocalist....only thing is i'm a moody singer...i only sing when I in the mood and most of my stuff is just freestyle...but hey you can always send me something and if it feels right...or does something for me I am always quick to lay something down.

I saw a post from one but it was like 6 months old .
Maybe done come and gone.
See my problem is not only would I like a female vocalist but I need her able and willing to do country and stuff like that.
Found a pretty good Vocaloid named Miriam though but I can not afford to buy her yet and the demo only lets her sing like 8 words..
