Fl Stuido or Cu Base, i intend to create techno / trance?

I agree! FL studios any version is all you need. Learn how to use the piano roll in FL. That is where you can get really creative with your synths.

I'm using FL Studios and it seems to do pretty good!
Can someone tell me how to use the mic for FL.?

Depends on your work flow preference. I can work just fine in Cubase, Sonar, Ableton and FLS, but I prefer FLS. It's very flexible and has a faster learning curve. I still say the mixer blows, but I've adapted to it.

Hey Toppix... check out youtube. That goes for the rest of you that have questions as well about FL. Plenty of info there in regards to the how to's. Recording with a mic sucks for FL though. FL is more the instrumental making type program. If you wanna record with mic.... use Adobe Audition or other similar programs that don't have things like piano rolls.

Hi ya guys, i'm just starting out with FL studio 8 producer and i was just wondering if ther is any way i can create a music video to run in conjunction with that program or do i have to do it seperate? also i'd really appreciate any hints and tips for beginers!!

Also if you create a song in FL.... you can actually Drop any video track in at Adobe Audition. The secret is at the top portion in the upper righthand corner to make the template set for video. Then drop the video track in there. I actually made my own short music video using the bear in the creek video that comes with windows vista. When you watch it you can hear my music in the background. Pretty cool stuff. I haven't experimented with it any further though.
