FL Studio 7

When i open my FL Studio 7, the kick, hihat,snare on the step sequencer are red, and dont make any sound, how do i return it back to normal. thank you

If they turn red it means you removed or moved the directory. The best way to solve that problem would be to reinstall FL. Before you do so be sure to save all your projects in a seperate folder!

i use fls 8, but i think fls 7 has the same problem. some synths like "lightspeed" keep playing even after they have been removed from the song, i mean that it keeps playing even if its pattern is not placed in a specific part of the song. it's omnipresent but i don't want it to be! what should i do?? help....

i dont use fl8 but it sounds like your synth is on a sequence try automating the volume and simply increase it when you want to be heard .

DJ Protege - you can move the samples and then just add the folder under the options menu. All of my samples are on a different HDD. Next time, you won't have to re-install.

yes lovesquid, but if the standard samples (those from the "Packs" folder) are missing (because you accidentaly deleted them or simply dont know where you moved them) its simpler to reinstall I think
