Flight of the Conchords

Enjoy laughing? Check this out!

Its been a pretty big hit around the world already, but for those who don't already know about Flight of the Conchords, I highly recommend checking it out.

Its basically about a couple of New Zealanders who are trying to get their band going in America (the 2 main characters are Jemaine Clement and Bret McKenzie, who in reallife actually have a comedy duo act, part of which is playing their weird parody songs (many of which feature in the tv series)...

Actually heres a little promo about the shows musical aspect...

Throughout the TV series they'll randomly break into song and dance - my words won't do it justice, so heres some examples... (remember the bulk of the show is dry humor, and they'll suddenly bust out one of these songs relating to whats happening in the episode)

I totally love this show, theres 12 episodes of drrrrry comedy, with lots of home musician stuff involved too, and a second season is being made soon - check it out!

Yeah as far as I'm concerned its one of the only worthwhile shows on TV :) Though of course I am a kiwi, a home musician, and a fan of this style of comedy, so may be a *tad* biased. So many laugh out loud moments. I'm more than happy for these guys to show the World what New Zealanders are all about haha!

LOL!! That was hilarious, it cracked me up when he said 'I'ma pop an apple in his ass' and the uninterested crowd topped it for me bro Ha Ha Ha!!!!!

Yeah you guys should definitely check out the full episodes eh - dunno if its on TV in the US / UK still or whether its finished playing, but you'll be able to download the lot ;)

Coolboy, we are much alike. I do the things you just listed, including no tv. But I do play uno and monoply on the pc. Old age is setting in.. Pop an apple in your ass got me too. The third video is a wee bit relateable. Just a weeeeeee bit. I will totally be trying to get all these now. Thanks for sharing these Matt.
