getting wave files into dr.rex(recycle) from audacity

Its pretty frustrating..i have wav format, and i can't get it into dr.rex, do i need to convert it?. or was the codec used from audacity when i expoted it a factor.

aybe the version of audacity is some sort of demo or something but that may not be it, since it is free online. What is recycle telling you when you try to load the wav file?
