"Global Summerhit" - singers wanted

Hi everyone,

I know I´m crazy (and on top of that it´s getting quite late over here...).
Maybe this idea is worth a try:

First of all, I´m a hard rocking musician, BUT: I have been chasing a "summer hit" quite a while ago, had a great song but didn´t get signed to one of the majors - does anyone know what I´m talking about? :-) - btw, in 2005 they released it in the Netherlands and it really paid for two or three good meals for two (with salad and dessert plus the fine for parking !!!).

Now it just happened that I´ve come up with a new song, got the music almost finished, melodies and lyrics written and am now looking for singers to give it a blast.
The song will be a typical cheesy, catchy, old-fashioned, pop-reggae kind of thing - imagine Vengaboys, Los Umbrellos, Mr. President, Passion Fruit and all that (did I mention I´m a real rock musician? Hope I did :-)).

Here´s who I need:

- male singer/rapper who can do some Shaggy like low, choppy vocals preferrably with some Jamaican or African accent (people over here in Europe WILL associate that with "summer"). A black (I hope that term is fine with you guys...) singer would be cool, since I´d like to add pictures too...

- two female singers who can reach the high "c" with their chest voice and look good (I would need pictures of them too).

I would send you the song for you to add your vocals to, you send it back to me, I mix it and shop it to my friends (that´s ironic) at the record labels, though I hate this part of the job...

Of course, if the song gets released you will defitinely get your share, I have no problems with written agreements either. Just contact me and I will tell you what I have in mind. If we shouldn´t get a deal - anyway, it should have been worth the fun - and the risk.

So the idea behind this is to get artists from different sides of the world together and record that song. Hopefully this will appear attractive to some A&Rs.

As for the photos, I would have your portraits cut out of the background and somehow have them assembled on a cover (let´s talk about this later).

Now, if anyone of you likes to take part in that fun project, I am happy to read your emails or other messages. Musically this is nothing "serious" or sophisticated, but it would be cool !!!
