Hi, I'm using ACID Studios, with an M-box to connect my SM58 and guitar to the computer. When I record and playback the volume is too low. I tried raising the master volume and the input volume, but whenever i render a mp3, i have to crank up the volume to hear it.
Please help! My friend is having the same problem when we record through garageband. No matter how much we turn the volume up, the end product mp3 turns out too low to hear.
Thanks for your time! Any help is appreciated.
ok nm i'm stupid, there's a separate volume control on each track. However if i put it too high i get a lot of static. Is there any way to get rid of that?
use a line mixer in between your audio inputs and your instruments. That way you can control both the volume and the gain. That worked for me. Had a hiss problem from my mic and that fixed it. Keep your gain low and your track level high. Line mixers start at 50 bucks. behinger makes a good entry level one for 70. (that's the one I had) It has phantom power supply and everything.
It'll do what it do till it done
You keep it pimp... I'm a keep it gangata!
