how do i get my mpd24 to play different sounds ?

ok i bought an mpd24 and logic pro , and i finally found out how to put sound into the mpd24 but every time i put a sound on the mpd that same sound plays on all the pads i can change the sound but it plays on all the pads i use logic pro and a mac

my question is how do i make all the 16 pads have different sounds instead of having them play the same sound please helllppp me ive been two days tryen to figure this out ,

If you have "16 levels" enabled on the mpd24 that will happen. It will play the same sample from very quiet to very loud. Make sure thats not enabled by mistake.

Also, I'm not familiar with Logic, but you do need something capable of loading 16+ different samples at once. Such as FPC in Flstudio, or the NI Battery sampler etc.
