You live with a heartbeat, I live with a bass beat. The E-DJ Caesar
i heard the freeway song your talking bout, i think the producer only used the same samples as you. If i was you i would try to be more original , you sound way tomuch like just blaze . If you stop that i'm sure you wont think people r stealing from you .
That just blaze remark is not a diss either . Its more advise on being more destinct
Well, was the beat he used, your beat verbatim? If so you have a good chance at recourse. It's all about proving you did it first. If you have your original files and samples on your HD, have posted it here, you have some kinda of time stamp on it. Its damn hard for someone to recreate a beat exactly in what ever software or hardware you use. I send stuff certified mail to myself to establish time. It's not fool proof, but its something. I had some one use the same samples as me once... almost did the beat verbatim, but there's had a bridge like part in it. It was on a devry commercial. I was pissed at first, but that beat was a piece of crap anyway. I was trying for a blues/funk sound and didn't get quite right. This right here is why I use my own handy work in almost every one of my beats, along with samples, but still have my own arrangements accompanying them.
Be good... or just good at it
You keep it pimp... I'm a keep it gangsta!
