Just another artist wanting to find likeminded artists/fans/whatever

Greetings, just joined the forums and thought I might as well make this.

I've been making music for the last year or two and I am part of a group (more of a collective as I'm the only member and I collaborate with people) titled, "Lined with Asbestos" - you can check some of the stuff out on http://www.myspace.com/linedwithasbestos it's an ecclectic mix of various genres that usually were spawned out of boredom currently until I get my new equipment.

I've uploaded a track to this website already titled, "Gloam", it's a down-tempo/trip-hop/folk track that I'm currently working on. The sound is very lo-fi but I've done this purposefully (plus the microphone used to record the guitar and the vocals was a laptop mic that's right next to the keyboard and picks up static like no other) the vocals were adlibbed and made for fun (like the screams) and aren't meant to be taken very seriously, they were more of a test with what I can do with the gear I had on hand. I've been told so far that I have a deep voice and sound like an intergalactic warlord... Not sure whether to take it as a compliment or not.

Anyways, if anyone wants to talk or discuss anything or even want to give a comment about the music, do drop me a line. I'm always interested in criticism, even if it's a simple "you're shit."
