A favor for a favor, perhaps? Scratch my back and I'll scratch yours?
I'm very appreciative of the resourses and community available here at Maketunes.com... This forum is awesome for creative input on our music from producers around the world. Unfortunately, I don't believe maketunes.com is a target site for gaining a fan base or attention from record label A&R groups. So, lets take a second for "all eyes on me."
You can help me by giving me a good rating at my showcase page. You can rate my work from 1 to 5 towards the bottom of the page above the comment section. I appreciate anyone who does this for me so I can attract A&R attention. **update: So you have to be a member to submit a rating, I didn't realize that. Instead, if you know anyone associated with a good label, hook me up with a connect!**
If anyone has any ideas for promotion, maybe something that has proven effective for you, please share those ideas here.
I don't expect you all to just do me a favor for nothing in return... So please, let me know how I could help you in your musical journey. I know I'm going up... If you want to go up too, then lets help each other out!

I tend to think that waiting to be noticed by a label with all the other fish in the same barrel is equivalent to winning the lottery.
Some people around the place who are signed can give you the low down but I'd say you'll have to actively demo your wares.

Yeah... I plan on it. I'm putting together 4-5 tracks for a demo cd. Then I'm gonna package it all sexy like and send it to some labels.

Okay, here's a real opportunity. I put a demo song on Epitaph Record's website. Epitaph is my top priority for labels to be on. So, if you will, go to www.epitaph.com/demolition and look for my song. You have to sign in with an email before the rating option shows, that way no one votes numerous times.

It should open your default mp3 player and load it in there. That directadmin login page shows up sometimes, I dont get it.
Ahh... It was in the private part of my file manager... I didn't realize there was such a thing... Now it's in the public html. BUT, I don't know if I'll be able to update the epitaph.com link until I put in a new submission next week... so.
Everything goes wrong for me online.
But fuck it, Eventually I'll get there.
