hello everyone, I'm having trouble with the begin of making a beat, the rhytme, where to put the hi-hat the kick, the drums etc.
I was wondering anyone got some tips?

What do you use man fruity loops?

i use fruity loops and i make my beats from scratch. check out my stuff if you got the time...all the titles of my beats have the word beat in it so they shouldnt be hard to miss.

Ya man I use fruity loops 6 and if you use the same.I can send you a flp and give you an idea of where your beats should be around.I make my beats from scratch also.On your snare put one 4 steps from the start and on 3 steps from the end.That is the basic snare pattern once you got that on there just move around your bass kicks and get them to where they sound good with the snare.
