MPD24 MMC Issues

Everything works within Reason 4.0 accept my PLAY/FF/RW/REC MMC buttons, i have the update with 4 but it didnt fix anything. I just want those buttons to work so my broke a$s feels more like im working with a MPC.

Also, when ever i load a device into my rack in Reason 4 it has a kit in it, like a redrum will have a disco kit, NNXT a string, so on..., how do i make it so it loads empty devices?

Im very new to midi devices so anything you think i might have missed, please let me know.

any an all help is greatly appreciated.

Hmmm let me think... can't you just start a new blank rack, then load a mixer etc, then load say a Redrum. Is it possible to then clear each Redrum sample slot one by one? And then save that rack as your default? I can't recall if its possible to clear each Redrum sample slot, or whether you always have to replace each sample with something else?

About the MMC - under Reason preferences > Keyboards & Control Surfaces, is your controller shown as AKAI MPD24? Or as a midi keyboard?
